Hiya, welcome to Sailor Coruscant's Archive. I'm your host, Sailor Coruscant, though in real life I go by the (somewhat more prosaic) name 'Catherine Braiding'. I'm a PhD student looking at star formation, who occasionally dabbles in fandom. That means that as you wander around my site, you'll no doubt find fanfiction and fanart for my various projects, but there are also a few original stories (one of which was even published for money - well, gift vouchers), my photo albums (currently under construction) and of course my online diary (which I am going to update any day now)! My day to day life is sometimes interesting, sometimes full of insight, and sometimes just plain weird. So, here for the very first time is the totally insane rantings and ravings of Catherine. Did I say I was going to write a trip report?...

Oops, I guess I meant I was going to put it off and go climb the harbour bridge instead. *grins*

So, while I'm off having fun, I'll leave you with my mum's blog post on the subject, and a scan of the nice art print I bought while I was away.

(I'm thinking of buying myself a few more of her prints, since I fell in love with them and I can't afford the actual paintings - I would have been tempted (but unable) to put down a stack of cash for this one if it hadn't sold the day before.)

Yo, all...

Been very slack with blogging recently, I know. But it's okay, because the PhD is mostly going along, I survived my review meeting without tears and someday I hope to graduate. Please god let me graduate. Oh, and I moved offices again. Which was probably the best solution to the bee problem (though filling the hole in the wall was a good attempt).

I'm going away to Mudgee tomorrow, to get some driving experience, since I'm only halfway through the practice I need to get my driver's license. I'd like to get my P plates before I go away in December. Have fun without me, and don't burn the place down in my absence.

ETA: I keep forgetting to tell you guys, but I signed up for a cake decorating class. Expect interesting photos once it starts.
