I don't normally approve of sharing my thoughts with the internet at large, but what the heck. Let's give it a try, shall we? Wednesday, May 02, 2007    Slipping through the cracks in reality... So, every time I step out of my office, I am greeted with this view: And every time I find myself pondering why that doorway was bricked up. Was it too cold? Too noisy with all the students walking back and forth? Is there someone trapped inside, unable to get out but still able to breathe through the snorkel? Or is it the case that there was never a door there, and I am the only person to see that the wall's texture changes at that point? Perhaps it's a portal to another realm, and if I just take the courage to step forward and touch the cement I will find that my fingers slip through it and I am magically transported to another world. On the other hand it's probably just the quantum physics students being antisocial again.
