Thoughts from a Conversation with the Tony on BSG...I think the whole situation could be fixed if it was revealed that somewhere in their sekrit holy books there was a passage that reads:
1And on the eighth day the LORDS of KOBOL came down from the mountaintops and said, 2"In the darkest hour of mankind shall come a great president, and her name shall be LAURA ROSLIN. 3Follow her, for she shall be always right."
And then whenever Laura does something that appears to be wrong but turns out to be right, the religious nutjobs can be all "see? it's in the scriptures, man!" and the non-religious nutjobs can be all "I hate that woman" and it all works out because there's a canon reason for the scriptwriters to make her always be right.

Yes, I know my brain is fried...Okay, so Obi-Wan and Anakin fight a bunch of droids in an elevator, and for an instant I wonder about the close quarters and whether or not they should damage the walls more, but then my brain decides that's not nearly as important as what happens if they cross the streams.
