Not that I'm bitter or miserable or anything...

The problem with the "always say yes" school of youth hostelling is that sometimes the crowd of people who take you places leave you in a favella (albeit a 'safe' one) without warning at 2:30 am and later state that they looked for you everywhere when you were standing in plain sight by the bar.

Needless to say I'm back safe and sound and will tell the story tomorrow.
