And I thought the books I read as a kid were geeky...Sir Cumference and the Dragon of Pi: A Math Adventure
The scary thing is there's a whole series of these stories.

Today I redecorated, with a poster of many Daleks on Westminster Bridge...Somehow I'm very annoyed that every youth hostel within public transport distance is booked for the long weekend, despite the fact that I can't afford to go away because I don't have a real job.

...One of these days I'm going to go exploring, and I'm going to find the wind chimes I can hear from my office window.
But not yet.

Thoughts from a Conversation with the Tony on BSG...I think the whole situation could be fixed if it was revealed that somewhere in their sekrit holy books there was a passage that reads:
1And on the eighth day the LORDS of KOBOL came down from the mountaintops and said, 2"In the darkest hour of mankind shall come a great president, and her name shall be LAURA ROSLIN. 3Follow her, for she shall be always right."
And then whenever Laura does something that appears to be wrong but turns out to be right, the religious nutjobs can be all "see? it's in the scriptures, man!" and the non-religious nutjobs can be all "I hate that woman" and it all works out because there's a canon reason for the scriptwriters to make her always be right.

La la, lalalalalalala...Last night, I took so long drinking my tea that a tiny spider took up residence in the mug and spun a rather involved web across the top.
