I's here...But I'm kinda busy for the next few days, so I probably won't have much time to write stuff up. However, to keep you occupied, I'm going to be posting some of my latest poetry. I'll give you the story first:
It all started when I read this article which was subtitled "why one man loves spam" in the print edition. Turns out that he uses the spam to write spoetry, which sounded like the funnest idea ever.
I started with a Spaiku:
Re: alpha male juice
Change your love life forever
men this is your chance.
and sure, it broke a few of the rules of the haiku (didn't mention a season, "re" isn't necessarily a word (though it is a syllable), etc), but it was cute and fun.
So then I wrote an actual spoem:
What do you name your penis?
Tableaux cavalry.
Don't be silly,
We bring people together...
Online Swingers.
Are we sensing a theme here? Yes, I get a lot of spam about improving my love life and/or penis. About 100 spam a day in total goes to my yahoo account. These two subject lines are presented in their own unique spoem, to show off how random words can be used to make the most peculiar art:
edition bogota conspiracy johanson fullerton warranty carleton storehouse darling harness flaunt ignition obscure inequity military upton exorcism obelisk elena requited who've adsorption coefficient canny country voltaire hung
echelon pan parlance slob teaspoonful bedim should franciscan wapiti foursquare aldrich assault registry dublin mouton
Hmm... now that I think about it, I'm probably going to get blocked by all sorts of parental control programs now. I mean, I posted the word "exorcism" in my blog.
Dont Dare To Fcuk Bcos Ur Dickky Is Too Small?
crested ?
imperceptible ?
acute ?
[none] ?
abhorred ?

There are more in the forums, in particular, in this post. I'll post some newer and blog-exclusive ones in a couple of days.

Coolest stuff ever!!!...Catherine got a box from Amazon.com (not a sponsered link, cause I don't get enough hits to make it worthwhile) today. In it were new things to add to my collection of stuff. ^_^'

For the record, those are discs 3, 4 and 6 of the American Sailormoon S release. Which means, I have the full set of that series now (this makes 3) and I only have to get the Sailormoon SuperS DVDs. And since Pioneer is going to release them as one nice box in july, I'm going to wait and then spend some of my savings buying those.
Hooray!
Catherine's still a bit depressed, but staying at James' place for the past few days helps. I've just got to get away from all the bad feelings, and, you know, talk to Mark about finding a nice direction to take this studying thing. I'm not happy where I am at the moment, so things need to be fixed. *sighs*
I saw the end of a Spiderman 2 trailer today, and thought of Tony. Then I realised that what I was seeing was that Killing Heidi is featured on the soundtrack. There's something wrong about a Killing Heidi song on a Tony movie... Can't explain it...
Anyway, for now, baibai!

Hmm...Saw Van Helsing. Hugh Jackman is an absolute babe, and his Australian accent shines through in this movie. I'd kinda gotten used to his american one until this movie. It was nice.
I wish I could bounce and recover like the people in that movie did when they were smashed into all those stone walls. I'm sure then I wouldn't bruise when I walk into tables and the like. I wish I wasn't unco.

That's just not nice, peoples...Apparently, the Church of Fools, the UK's first web-based, 3D church was gatecrashed by a "plague of virtual demons, some of whom have been logging on as Satan and unleashing strings of expletives during sermons." (source: ABC News)
People are trying to have a good time, praying and whatnot, and someone logs in as Satan and start hurling racist remarks at them. It's nice to be nice, peoples! You wouldn't do that in a real church, so why would you in a cyber one? Because no one can see your real face? That's low. Grr
On a positive note, during the first service the minister was 'raptured' (*rolls eyes*). Some say his internet connection went down, but officials believe it was something more holy.

I'm still really tired...I'm not sure I'm over this glandular thing. It sucks.
I was sitting on the train today. The woman next to me was eating a piece of cake and swearing every time she got a crumb on her skirt. Serves her right for not picking up a serviette or something. But what really puzzled me was that she didn't just swear, she was cursing, "Jesus!" constantly.
It made me wonder... If she was Christian, she shouldn't be taking the lord's name in vain. If she wasn't Christian, why was she invoking someone else's god? In the old days, such blasphemy was shocking, hence people used it, but in this day and age, it's not so shocking, so swearing like that makes little sense, when you think about it.

Two Days Running...I'm starting a trend, perhaps? Who knows, I was really just bored with the lack of posting here. I ought to update more. I also need more pictures in this thing, I think, but I don't have the site space for that. Maybe I should move to James' server... It'll mean slower speeds, but relatively unlimited space, which would be a good thing. I recently learned how host torrents on his machine, so any large files would be distributed that way, but it would be fun. And I'd be able to have large files.
Today on the way to the bus stop I saw a van in the car park (the sort that would sit 12 people, instead of the usual 9, or a wheelchair, cause it had a high top), with bright writing on the front that said:
On the Move
Today I learned that if you have a satellite designed to look at the surface of the earth in detail, you *can* see the Great Wall of China from space:

Rah...My PGSM CD finally arrived today. It was delayed so many times before it finally got posted. There's a crack in the top of the jewel case, which pisses me off since the package was bubble-wrapped, but I'll just replace it with something from a cd I don't like as much and pretend it was never imperfect.
In other news, I ordered DVDs 3, 4 and 6 of SailormoonS the other day, since Pioneer is going to rerelease them in a box set in a little while. Since I already had half of the series, I thought it best to get in quick with the old discs before they became unavailable. I'll buy SuperS as a box though. Just because it will be cheaper that way.
I had a very busy weekend at the school of astronomy at uni. It was fun though, even though I'm now so exhausted that I'm going to bed at an early hour for me. I'll never catch up on the sleep I lost. Speaking of sleep, I think I'm mostly over my glandular-incudeced sleepiness, but I've been really depressed lately, so I haven't been sleeping well. I go to bed, and then don't sleep for hours. I've found that listening to music on my iPod sometimes helps, so tonight I might try listening to a book on tape. I'm listening to neuromancer at the moment. Books on tape aren't really my thing, but William Gibson's voice has a tendancy to make me want to sleep so maybe it will help when I'm actively seeking sleep.
Goodnight world.
