   I need a depressed-looking chibi, ne?...
Well anyway, been doing maths all this morning. Got one half of one half of the assignment done, which means I've still got a lot of work to do before lunchtime tomorrow. Catherine is not terribly happy, for I didn't end up finishing the quantum, though I did hand it in, and although I've done maths, I don't really understand what it is that I have done. If that makes any sense.
This is just a short post, cause I'm about to go for lunch, but I thought I'd just give anyone who cares an update about my assignment situation. Talk to you more tomorrow, I guess.

  Once more with feeling...
I got to see Yoda Strikes Back again on Friday. It was still cool, and Brendan did enjoy it. He also enjoyed watching the whole of Mahoromatic the following day. Kinda scarey seeing the whole thing in one sitting, but anyway...

I have big news for you all, but at the moment it's still top secret. But yeah *bounces around happily*, it's the coolest thing ever. I'm once again remodelling my site, but not too dramatically this time. I've also decided to give up on the great plan to block out yahoo's ad squares. It was just too much effort to sit there blocking everything all the time. So, there's a new solution, and I really like what I see so far. Anyway, there will be further updates on that front in a few days.

I've (almost) finished my quantum assignment, which is why I feel relaxed enough to sit here typing to this for a little while. I know the maths is due on wednesday and I've done very little of it, but one of my classes tomorrow has been cancelled, and I'm sure it'll all turn out good.

Hey yeah, and while on the subject of cool things, James and I did celebrate five months of going out yesterday. *smiles* I can't believe I've managed to hang onto him for this long, I was sure he would have given up on me long before this.

*smiles* Okay, what else can I mention? I'm currently listening to Chiquitita as a part of my current ABBA phase, and singing aloud despite the fact that I have headphones on. *shrugs* No one else is in my room so I don't care what they think out there.
And I have a cup of tea, just to make the remainder of my evening perfect. Actually, it will be perfect once I stop ICQ from making stupid "uh-oh"s...
*short break*
Okay, that's better.

Anyway, I'm going to leave this off now. I have some html to edit. Goodnight all! Love ya!

So hungry... Bren-chan, where are you?...
Brendan's coming in to uni today, sometime in the next hour, I hope. I'm waiting around instead of going for food and my tummy keeps protesting. But anyway, we get to watch Yoda Strikes Back again tonight, so maybe things aren't all bad.
I'm done for the day, isn't it grand? I was planning on working on my quantum assignment in the many hours between now and the movie, but of course the stupid Catherine-chan did leave them at home so now I have nothing to do but the Manga quizzes. And the subject does still rock, for we did talk about ninjas (as well as other aspects of Japanese culture) in yesterday's class.

Oh, and my network is working! Last night as I sat around typing up my quantum notes, I was able to chat online to James! Yay for him. I'm pulling the forums here down, but I was thinking about moving stuff or building myself a much nicer website somewhere. I wish I knew what to do about it all, really I just want someone to say "Catherine, do this! Spend some money are get a real site" or "Catherine, I know of this great freebie server that actually doesn't screw you over by being slow with popups or stupid bloody ad squares". *sighs* It's never going to happen though.

Right, well, I'm going to finish this off now and get back to typing up my quantum notes from today. Catch ya on the flip side.

  And a week later...
I really meant to write last night. But it was dark and I was tired and miserable from having walked home to find that my sister's boyfriend had eaten the dinner that had been set aside for me. So, after I defrosted, I had to cook for myself and eat by myself and generally feel miserable by myself. But I downloaded the second episode of Dragon Drive, so maybe things aren't all bad.
I also figured out that the floppy disk drive in James' computer (the one on my desk) is dead, so that's why no one has been able to get copies of the quantum notes. They'll be appearing as soon as I plug in the new hub tonight.

Well, I solved all of Riddler's problems today by rediscovering the script he wrote for that movie of his. So now he loves me again, because I do stuff for him. If only he'd loved me while I was doing stuff for him and totally gone on him, he might not be so miserable. But that's his own damn fault, and no I don't know why I brought that up. Anyway, I did also mirror the file here, in case geocities was being completely bastardly (which it was) so if anyone gives a damn, here is the most recent copy of the script for the star wars fan-film, Dark Horizons.

And I'll try one or two more things with regards to the forums. If they don't work, I'll give up, but if they do work I'll give it one last chance. That's all we get in this world after all. And t35 just logged me out again, so I guess that means I am giving up on the whole stupid forums idea.

I was thinking... If I bought myself a domain name, would anybody care? Cause domain names are cool and all. Course, it'd be better if I had my page hosted at a different server, somewhere that doesn't have popups or stupid ad-squares. But that'd no doubt cost money. I don't mind having banner ads on my pages, so long as I get to control them, which is why geocities used to be cool. Cause they didn't give you popups so long as you had their banners somewhere on the page, and you could put them anywhere. That was nice, both for me and the visitors to my sites.
That reminds me... Since I'll have the network working to full capacity (i.e. three computers online) tonight, I might be able to pull off an update at the geocities site. That would be sweet, ne?

Oh, I haven't said anything about my manga class. Well, it rocketh! Last week was hugely disorganised, what with too many people being in the room and James sitting on the floor while Catherine got a seat but not a desk, but we got to look at some manga and watch a little anime (including the openings of Sailor Moon (not Sera Mun unfortunately) and Evangelion (which HMV calls Neon Genesis on their stupid dvd stands)). One of the major projects includes doing a poster for an original manga (or anime) and talking about it for three minutes (should be not too hard, 'cept for the artwork) and the other is an essay about one of the main themes of any manga we choose (at the moment my favourite choice would be lain for issues). But yeah, the second class is on in another hour and a bit and I can't wait.

Umm... running out of ideas, will post again later if I get a chance.

Anyway...
I seem to keep getting distracted from what I set out to write lately, so that nothing I do truly works. I mean, I was thoroughly distracted when Volker came in on Monday, so I didn't finish what I was writing and just posted without finishing what I was writing. And, of course, by now I've totally forgotten what I had set out to say. Oh well, we'll just have to start over.

Quantum Physics rocks. That was my primary thought yesterday, and it continues over today. It especially rocks now that I've had things like quantum cryptography and teleportation explained to me (if only in the most limited sense). If anyone wants me to explain it to them, email me and I'll write it all up. Until then, my knowledge will stay in my own head. Actually, I have been typing up my notes for Quantum (without the stuff on crypto and teleportation), so if anybody wants those, again, you have but to ask. Oh, I have an idea. I'll put up a link to the old notes from last semester, since they are more general in knowledge. Check the menu to the right for that.

Hopefully James will get here soon and we can go for coffee. I like coffee, and I did get into uni about 5 hours before my first class, so something to wake me up would be appreciated.

Actually, I can't think of anything else to write at this moment, so I'll get back to you later.
Ja!
