In the dream we were together,
Walking hand in hand.
I told you all of my secrets,
And you showed me the depths of your heart.
The moonlight was the only witness
To all that we said that night.
I was safe and content,
Knowing that you were there.
You kissed me,
And for one moment I felt special.
When I woke I was alone,
And I remembered that you don't care for me.
But maybe, if I am lucky,
You will visit my dreams again.
