Sailor Coruscant

The Ice Tower

The ice tower,
Cold and alone.
White against the blue sky,
Shining in the night.
And at its topmost reaches,
The girl does close her eyes.
Content within her prison,
Her tower made of ice.

The ice tower,
Glistens in the sun.
Its walls are of her making,
She hides here from their sight.
And as someone approaches,
The girl will close her eyes.
Safest in her world here,
Her tower made of ice.

The ice tower,
Warm to her alone.
A glacier her defences,
Her guard against the night.
The warmth of friendship touches,
The girl must close her eyes.
Afraid of what may follow,
Her tower made of ice.

The ice tower,
Sparkles in the night.
It starts to melt at his touch,
A trickle of pure light.
And as she learns her lesson,
The girl shall close her eyes.
Showing no emotion,
Her tower made of ice.

The ice tower,
Frozen to its core.
Growing stronger as time passes,
Shining walls of crystal might.
And looking in her mirror,
The girl sees icy eyes.
Taking comfort in her coldness,
Her tower made of ice.

My ice tower,
Cold and alone.
I sheltered in your warmth here,
I hid within your light.
And at your topmost reaches,
I found a place to cry.
My prison and my freedom,
My tower made of ice.
