PHYS2512 Madness!

With only a few days before Santa's arrival, some brave soul requested the opportunity to see everyone's wishlist, just in case they had time to write something to fill out a stocking that could be fuller. And so here they are (in alphabetical order)...

Anna

• Samantha Who? — I think Andrea is brilliant, she's so funny and her attitude is so horrible it's brilliant! I'd love to read a story about her that shows a more sensitive side to her personality, but then has it so she's a bitch in the end again. Something about falling in love and tragic at the end—like maybe she gets her heart broken and then she does something to retain her pride/dignity but you can still tell that she's heart-broken. :(
• Firefly — Anything!
• Supernatural — Somthing with Dean and whether he is able to deal with his experiences of hell.
• Isobelle Carmody—Obernewtyn Chronicles — I'd like to see somthing with Elspeth and her bloke a bit more. I loved the last book where their quest was a test on their strength of their relationship and love between them. I love the coercer, empath and farseeker abilities, but the story doesn't necessarily need to be related to Elspeth's quest. I don't really mind!
• The Illusionist — I love edward norton, and the passion and love he has for the girl. Maybe alternate ending where it's revelaed that everything is actually majic? I don't mind though just write about whatever you fancy!
• The Princess Bride — Another quest! I like that Westley was once a pirate so maybe he had to go back to the ship for some reason adn Buttercup went with him and then she got captured and he has to resuce her again! Feel free to throw in as many dwarves/giants/poisonous drinks/weird creatures in as poss!!
• Stardust — I love the relationship between Tristan and Yvaine—something about them with castles, magic and witches!

Catherine

I am not at all picky. I love happy endings, I love angst, I love action, I love thoughtful moments of silence. Just write something. ;) You could read this as "anything" for all of them, I just tried to think of things that would inspire me.

• The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy — I'd like to see something with Marvin in it. Perhaps we could find out what he does when he's by himself. Maybe he would get into a deep conversation with an equal. Could he possibly enjoy himself? Maybe he just goes on holiday, how does that work out? Or how about an updated Guide entry for Earth or Pluto (now that its status has been downgraded).
• Star Trek (TOS) — Bones: "We have 24 hours to find Spock's Brain." Oh, wait that's been done. How about then Q goes back in time to meet Kirk but instead falls for Uhura and takes over the Enterprise to impress her.
• Sat Trek TNG (Sort of) — I'd like to see some adventure for the crew of the Enterprise C (NCC-1701-C). Possibly I'd like to find out what difference they actually do make at Wolf-359.
• Medium — Not too hot, not too cold. (Yes, this is a serious suggestion.) Or, Alison has a normal dream.
• Harry Potter — Harry Potter writes a book about a woman named JK Rowling.
• Nineteen Eighty-Four — And they all lived happily ever after.
• That Radio Bloke — He manages to offend another minority and we hear more about the funny photo of him at that radio bloke dot com.
• xkcd — Black hat guy double crosses Cory Doctorow. Where does black hat guy's girlfriend fit in?
• Amile — Anything where we see more of Amile's stunts would be good. How would she be with children? Her own children? Or instead, what happens when she runs out of skipping stones.
• NCIS — Tony's first day on the job. Copious references to the term "Probie" would be appropriate.
• Samantha Who? — Samantha suddenly remembers who she is: Elizabeth Montgommery.
• Supernatural — Dean's car gets stolen by a ghost.
• Space Invaders — I'd like to see something that explains why the aliens use the attack formation they do, or what the barricades are that the defender uses as cover.
• A Message from the Prime Minister (featuring Kevin Rudd) — Godzilla is attacking Darwin. Or some other similarly unbelievable "natural" disaster.
• Galaga — The crew of the captured fighter are taken hostage and experimented on.
• Moria — The player haggles with a shop owner over price.
• Stargate SG-1 — Sam breaks up with Jack over coffee.
  
   
  — this object in the grounds of Sydney University turns out to be a stargate.
  
   
  — The Stargate Program is charged with breaking the Antarctic Treaty (specifically the provision banning weapons of any kind). The story could feature My Woolsey in some capacity.
• The Blob — Global Warming, Sequel, the rest writes itself.

Katrina

• NCIS (tv) — I would like a moment between Gibbs and Ziva. Doesn't need to be romantic (though that would be nice!), but something that shows the closeness there is between them. Preferably angsty, maybe a case goes wrong.
• House (tv) — House and Cuddy's relationship intrigues me. We know they slept together at some point in the past. How did it happen? Or how did they interact after?
• Supernatural (tv) — An Ellen-centric story with John interaction. Maybe the first time she meets the boys, or after her husband is killed (did John tell her?). So could be angst or hijinks.
• The West Wing (tv) — My favourite show of all time. CJ is my favourite, and I love her interaction with everybody. Not overly fond of Josh/Donna or Sam, but I can take them in small doses. Something comedic, fun, the gang being a family would be lovely.

• Babylon 5 — Garibaldi and Daffy Duck. Life reflecting art. Or Garibaldi introducing another person to the wonder that is Daffy.
• Firefly — Any character. "All it is is dust."
• Frasier — Any character. "Take that back!"
• Samantha Who? — Sam contemplates therapy or a girls' night out.
• The West Wing — 'Red is definitely your character'. CJ, Josh, Toby, Leo or Will preferred. Snarky comments from Carol also appreciated. Any pairing.
• Yes (Prime) Minister — 'you expect it to make sense?' Any characters.
• Mina de Malfois — Mina contemplates briefly leaving fandom to become an even bigger BNF. Otherwise, anything.
