I'm not really very good at being artistic. In fact, for the most part I have no idea. However, every so often I do sit down and draw something, so I thought I should possibly archive those as well. All the pictures you see around this site are copyright me, but these drawn ones are especially dear to my heart. Please email me comments and do not use without my permission. The sketches are all thumbnails, so click the image for the full picture.
In more recent years, my scanner up and died, making it hard for me to display new images. But, to make up for it, I've become more and more interested in pixel art, which is great fun.

This is the poster that I made when I thought I'd be posting the Domus Prime comedy, "When Duty Calls" last year. Unfortunately, my studies took over and I just never had a chance to finish the story. One of these days I will get back to it, and maybe my friends will still help me put together an audio recording of it. Until then, enjoy the teaser poster. |
This wast the original splashscreen for SC.com. I really like it, and if Brendan hadn't come through with such a beautiful image for the front page, I would have just let things be probably forever. The original image was from one of the old sailor moon games (unfortunately I can't find the site I found it on), and was a rather pretty picture of Sailorvenus. |

A pencil sketch of Catherine and the Riddler - from the Domus Prime stories. This is my favourite of all of my old anime sketches. Sure, it's just a copy/adaption of a really popular Takeuchi Naoko image of Chiba Mamoru and Tsukino Usagi, but I really think I did a good job with it. Plus I did adapt the clothing, if not the faces. |
Another pencil sketch of Catherine and the Riddler - from Domus Prime. The basis for this sketch is from a really nice image in James Gurney's 'Dinotopia'. I took it, and made it uniquely Domus Prime. The scene depicted was one from the Riddler's failed Chapter 5, which was never written in full (and the one scene was deleted by him in a fit of pique). |

A pencil sketch of Sailor Coruscant during her stay in the Sith Fortress - from the Domus Prime stories. I love this image. The original idea came from a sketch in Anne McCaffrey's 'The Girl Who Heard Dragons', if I remember correctly. I know I did a number of other sketches of original characters based on manga adaptions of those sketches, but I never scanned them. |
Sailor Coruscant in action! Wow, both SC's posture and the Crystal Staff look really crappy in this image. Not to mention that I don't think I ever wrote SC using the Staff to fight, it was mostly used for a defensive power. I would like to think that I'm better at sketching now. |

Catherine, loyal handmaiden, in a simple costume sketch. Catherine is, funnily enough, Sailor Coruscant's alter ego, though it's a little more complicated than that. The basis for this sketch was the pattern for my cloak, which I still intend to sew one day. |
Sailor Coruscant looking really excited about something. Early hair design, entirely too Sailormoon. But, you know, I was kinda experimenting. We do that when we're young and are trying to learn the basics. Also, die-hard fans will notice that the shading on her locket is the wrong way around. |
